We had a lovely stay at this charming guesthouse nestled in the heart of wine country. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, even offering taxi recommendations and providing security in the evenings. The spacious rooms were well-appointed with comfortable beds and magnificent views of the surrounding vineyards. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay with the fresh juices and delicious offerings. The atmosphere was relaxed and tranquil, providing a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Had a fairly nice stay on vacation, everything was perfect. The staff were all super-friendly and amicable, and the room was neat with beautiful views of the mountains. The location was amazing, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Huguenot Memorial Museum: D

Everything was excellent, so were exceptional views of the valley. A wide range of food served in the restaurant for breakfast, it was gorgeous and fantastic. The location was amazing on the mountains and the staff here was pleasant. I truly enjoyed the holiday and would definitely go back.

Spending our Xmas break in this guest house was a real treat. The owners and staff were friendly and welcoming, eager to ensure our stay was perfect. We enjoyed the fantastic views and the relaxing atmosphere, sitting by the pool and sipping our drinks while admiring the beautiful gardens. Breakfasts were a highlight, with homemade goodies and fresh fruit on offer. We also appreciated the location, only a short walk from the city centre with great restaurants and wineries nearby. a wonderful experience that we would highly recommend to others.

The lack of air conditioning in the rooms. It was quite hot during our stay, and although the rooms had ceiling fans, it was not enough to cool down the room.

Amazing hotel with spacious and cozy rooms. Beautiful surroundings and jaw-dropping views. Super friendly staff, special thanks to Allan & Yvonne for making our stay enjoyable. Incredibly helpful in planning our unforgettable safari in Kruger National Park. Consistently excellent breakfast with a nice variety of buffet and hot courses. Delicious coffee and delightful luxury of a fire in the bedroom. Attentive but unobtrusive hosts, with an EXCELLENT rescue dog to make us feel at home. Elegant and geared for human comforts, with lovely old Cape Dutch shutters and ceilings. Price may be a shock, but the location and general excellence make it worth it. A warm reception from the wonderful team, catering to all our needs. Spacious bedroom with turtle doves waking us up. Fabulous breakfast in front of a warm fire. Amazing mountain views, peace, and quietness, yet still close to restaurants and shops. Can't forget Cassy the hotel dog. We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely amazing time at this hidden gem in Franschhoek. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center, with plenty of great restaurants and wine estates nearby. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and recommended some hidden gems for wine tasting and dining. The breakfast on the terrace was a highlight, with homemade delights that made us feel right at home. The pool area was a perfect spot to relax after a day of wine tasting, with breathtaking views of the mountains. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel like part of the family. We can't wait to come back!

We can't think of any drawbacks to our stay. Everything was perfect and we wish we could have stayed longer.

During our romantic escape, we were delighted by the beautiful surroundings and stunning views of the vineyards. It was a perfect location for a peaceful getaway. The accommodation was comfortable, spacious, and clean. We particularly loved the mornings spent enjoying a delicious homemade breakfast on the terrace, accompanied by fresh fruit and honey. sipping on the wine made from the nearby vines while sitting on the patio and admiring the picturesque valley was a memorable experience.

There were a few aspects that were not up to our expectations. the lack of air conditioning was a major drawback, especially during the scorching heat.

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the opportunity to create my own flower arrangement from their gardens. The breakfast is tasty and prepared with care. The room had traditional Cape wooden floors and a cozy fireplace. The view from the patio is lovely.

I had an amazing stay at a family-run lodge. The location was peaceful with breathtaking mountain views, and yet just a short walk from the city center with all the restaurants and wine train. The breakfast made by the staff was delicious, with homemade jams and juices. The hotel facilities were clean and well-kept, and the staff was warm, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They even let me pick my own flowers from their gardens to make my own flower arrangement for my room!

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The breakfasts were consistently excellent, with a nice variety of buffet and hot courses. The coffee was delicious. The location was also a treat for the eye, with beautiful gardens and vineyards. It was a peaceful and quiet place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We also appreciated the warm hospitality and local advice given by the new managers Roger and Josephine.

One negative aspect was the price of the accommodation, which was a bit shocking. It was quite expensive compared to what we expected.

Great location, close to the town and restaurants. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool and garden to relax. The breakfast was very tasty with fresh produce.

Our room was quite small and outdated compared to the pictures available. The bed was uncomfortable and gave us backache every day.
